Zambia: Uphold Good Governance

ALLIANCE for Democracy and Development (ADD) president Charles Milupi has implored Government to continue upholding good governance values in order to enhance democracy.

Mr Milupi said democracy was an important ingredient for national development and that governance principles should continue to flourish.

He was speaking on Sunday evening when he featured on a live MUVI Television programme dubbed 'The Assignment' on the topic governance.

"Government needs to play an important role in promoting good governance and democracy. As Zambians, we should ensure that these values are upheld," he said.

He said opposition political parties and other stakeholders should play an active role in fostering democracy.

Mr Milupi urged the Government to take on board various tangible solutions that opposition parties were offering.
