Kenya: Airtel Unveils Promo to Drive Sales

AIRTEL Kenya subscribers stand a chance to have their utility bills paid for by the mobile phone service network following launch of a new promotion to reward customer loyalty.

The two month long promotion dubbed 'jaza ushinde' offers subscribers who top up for Sh50 or more an entry into the weekly draws where they get a chance to have a range of their bills paid including rent, shopping, fuel, electricity, airtime and water.

"Jaza ushinde is our way of offering our customers the much needed support and relief from these challenges by simply topping up and using their airtel line in the normal way," said managing director Shivan Bhargava. Each top up is equivalent to one entry.
