Kenya: Schools to Close On 17th for Party Nominations

All public primary schools have been directed to close on Thursday 17th this month to allow parties to hold nominations. The education ministry says the move will also assure parents of the safety of their children during the exercise. The ministry says the day will be compensated for in the course of the term.
