Eritrea: Hagaz Semi-Urban Business Sector Fourishing - Report

Hagaz — Hagaz semi-urban center is reportedly witnessing flourishing activities as regards service business. The local Administration disclosed that the number of service businesses has significantly increased vis-à-vis the quality of service they render.

Mr. Kiflom Bair'u from the Administration of the semi-urban center pointed out that 46 new service businesses were opened last year, raising the number of such firms in the locality to 370, and that the residents are in a position of obtaining a wide range of services. Furthermore, he indicated that the Administration is exerting endeavors pertaining to control and follow-up of service quality.

Among the business persons, Ms. Semhar Fisehaye and Mr. Petros Kaffel said that service business has gained potency in line with the growth of the semi-urban center, and that they would strive to attain higher business achievement.
