Lubango — The seven year-old child Islanda Mateus Yiares won on Moday, in Lubango city, Southern Huila Province, the third infantile edition of the BPC sculpture construction prize, totalizing 391 points with a Siren, Angop has learnt.
Leandra Patrícia Marques, 11, was the second, with 390 points.
The initiative is part of the programme of the Savings and Credit Bank (BPC) held annually to discover and develop new talents at the level of arts.
The winner received from the hands of the local Deputy Governor for Political and social affairs, José Araão Nataniel, 20,000 Kwanzas. He will also benefit from the opening of a banking account and kits of scholar materials.
