Angola: Education Ministry to Increase School Network in 2013

Sumbe — The Ministry of Education plans to increase throughout 2013 the scholar network in five percent, with the enlistment of 18,000 teachers at national level, on Tuesday here announced the incumbent Minister, Mpinda Simao.

The official told so to Angop, in the fringes of the opening of the fourth technical council of the ministry, adding that the increase is part of the development programme that has as main goal the achievement of education for all and the increase of coverage, taking into account the country's needs.

Although he did not mention the number of students, he said that increasing of teachers means more students.

"We need to achieve the coverage of 100 per cent in primary schools, which represents education for everyone", he said.
