Luanda — Somos Um So" solidarity Project designed to assist victims of natural disasters in Southern Africa was presented Tuesday in Luanda by "Akwafrica Produções Angola", together with the "Banco de Comércio e Indústria (BCI)".
Speaking at a press conference, the project chairman, musician Tony N'guxi said the project is intended to assist all people who have faced the effects of natural disasters.
According to the source, part of the funds raised by the project will be channelled to the Disaster Fund of Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Executive Secretariat, so it can fulfil its natural disasters programmes.
In addition to the solidarity project, the event served to release the motivational CD called "Space Of Love" by Tony N'guxi, that focuses on Angolan people's daily life.
The 16-track CD has had the participation of such Angolan names as Africanita, Wiza, Kizua Gourgel, Jef Brown, Dalú Roger and Monis de Almeida.
According to Tony N'guxi, the money raised from the sale of the CD will be channelled to the solidarity project.
On the occasion, the Angolan musician called on the society to contribute to the protection of the environment and preservation of the ecosystem.
