Carthage — The fight against unemployment and especially of higher education graduates, one of the main challenges facing Tunisia, was the focus of the meeting, Tuesday, of caretaker President Moncef Marzouki and International Labour Organisation (ILO) Director-General Guy Ryder.
The latter expressed satisfaction at the signing on Monday of the Social Pact which, he said, should contribute to increase concord and dialogue and allow to further attract foreign investments, reads a Presidency communiqué.
Mr. Marzouki said for his part that today's Tunisia needs to work out new methods to promote higher education graduates' employment, adding that the country is open onto the experiences of other countries which succeeded in this field. He also reminded that the right to employment is among the main slogans of the Revolution.
