Egypt: Morsi, Arab Information Ministers Discuss Developments of Arab Arena

President Mohamed Morsi held Tuesday 15/1/2013 a dialogue with the Arab Information Ministers at the Presidential Headquarters in Heliopolis with. The dialogue tackled the current developments of the Arab arena and the challenges encountering the Arab media in the light of the regional and international fast-moving events.

Moreover, the meeting dealt with the developments of the media and communications technology and the necessity of adopting them. Besides, the meeting addressed the importance of making the information available to media personnel to interact with the masses and guarantee freedom of expression. In addition, the national issues have to disseminate to the global public opinion. It stressed the need for improving the image of the Arabs and Muslims.
