Nigeria: Man Accused of Inserting Finger Into Girl's Private Part

The police, last Wednesday arraigned a man before an Upper Area Court sitting in Gwagwalada for allegedly inserting his finger into the private part of a five- year-old girl.

Police prosecutor, Inspector Martha Paul, told the court that the accused, 35-year-old Ibrahim Akin of Anguwar Dodo community in the council, was arraigned on a count charge of gross indecency, which contravenes Section 285 of the Penal Code. She said the matter was reported to the police by one Cajethan Ubughu.
