Libya: Benghazi Bomb Kills Policeman

A Libyan policeman died Monday (January 14th) after a bomb hit his patrol car in the centre of Benghazi, Libya Herald reported. According to witnesses in the Kish area near Fuwaihat, the device was tossed from a passing vehicle.

The attack came just two days after a failed assassination attempt against Italian Consul-General Guido De Sanctis in Benghazi.
