Gambia's High Commissioner to Nigeria Felicitates President Jammeh

Angela B Colley, the Gambia's High Commissioner to Nigeria has written to the president of the Republic, His Excellency, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, congratulating him on the recent occasions of Christmas and New Year respectively.

The message reads:

As your Excellency and the government and people of The Gambia celebrate the important occasion of Christmas and the advent of 2013, it gives me great pleasure and honour on behalf of the entire Gambian community residing in the jurisdiction of The Gambia High Commission, Abuja, to convey to Your Excellency and family and the government and the entire Gambian people our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year in advance.

As we join Your Excellency, the government and people of The Gambia in celebrating these auspicious occasions, we pray to the Almighty God for your continued leadership, good health and prosperity in 2013 and beyond.May the year 2013 bring with it more success and greater achievements for Your Excellency and government in your endeavours to develop The Gambia for the betterment of all Gambians and those living in The Gambia.

We pray to God, the Almighty, to continue showering his infinite blessing on Your Excellency, Your Family, the government and the entire Gambian nation and to also continue to guide and guard Your Excellency in your day-to-day endeavours in the service of our Dear Nation, The Gambia as well as grant Your Excellency and Family peace, stability and security.

Once again, Your Excellency, the expression of our true allegiance and support, please accept the assurances of our highest consideration and esteem.
