City businessman, Hassan Basajjabalaba has been sent on remand to Luzira prison.
This after the Director of Public Prosecutions, Richard Butera, endorsed forgery charges against Basajjabalaba in the Anti-Corruption Court.
Basajjabalaba was arrested at Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday as he allegedly attempted to sneak out of the country after learning that the police were hunting for him.
