Angola: Minister Highlights Importance of UNAC Meeting

Luanda — The minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, Tuesday in Luanda considered of high importance the round table of the National Association of Angolan Artists and Songwriters (UNAC) on the plight of the members of the class.

Rosa Cruz e Silva who was speaking at the closing of the event, said there was need for a dialogue among the professionals to discuss their concerns. The meeting was also a homage to artists who passed away in 2012.

To the minister, the meeting enabled a discussion of the real problems concerning the artists and find solutions to them.

She said that while the problems facing the artists were known, there was need the artists themselves seated to discuss and have their voices heard.
