The Governor of Niger State, Dr Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu has said that he had not sent any campaign team out for his purported presidential ambition as reported by the media on Tuesday.

Aliyu who received the envoy from Ethiopia and the management of Federal University of Technology, Minna in council maintained yesterday that the team of PDP stalwarts who left Minna to Plateau State was a group that went to thank the state for supporting the election of national youth leader of the party who is from Niger State.

" Since 2015 is the in-thing, somebody think I sent them out, no they went on thank you tour for the election of youth leader but if it is God's will that I must come out believe me I am not afraid, I will come out what will be will be but I am not out yet," he said.

The Governor stated further, "I needed to say this because I thought I should keep quite. I saw it in one newspaper(not LEADERSHIP) only, when I read the content no relationship with the headline, I say it is a normal thing , I woke up today again I hear from BBC, they are looking for news from every little thing you do".
