South Africa: CAF, AU/Nepad Event On January 17 in Alexandra

The Confederation of African Football in collaboration with the African Union (AU)/Network for Partnership for Development in Africa (NEPAD) will hold a social event on Thursday, January 17 at the San Kopanong Stadium, Alexandra Township.

There will be statements from Hicham El Amrani (CAF Secretary General), H.E. Dr Sidiko Kaloko (AU Commissioner for Social Affairs) and H.E. Dr Ibrahim Mayaki (CEO of NEPAD) at the event supported by the Alex Football Association.

Also in attendance will be former Bafana Bafana coach, Pitso Mosimane as well as globally renowned athlete, Oscar Pistorius.

The event starts at 9h30 local time, but media are expected to be seated at 09h30.

All accredited are invited to attend the event.
