Tunisia: Debate On Preliminary Draft Constitution With Tunisian Expatriates in France

Tunis — The National Constituent Assembly (NCA) announced on Wednesday that consultations on the preliminary draft of the Constitution will be held with the Tunisian Community in France from January 19 to February 3, 2013.

These meetings, held in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), "are part of the dialogue with the civil society and the participative approach adopted by the Assembly as essential mechanism in the process of drafting the Constitution," said an NCA statement.

These consultations are organised with members representing the Tunisian expatriates in France at the National Constituent Assembly as well as members of the co-ordinating and drafting authority, added the statement.
