Youths numbering over 50 gathered close to Mararaba bridge this morning protesting the ban of minibuses by the FCT Administration.

They carried placards chanting 'we no go gree', calling on the government to reverse the policy.

The protest led to chaotic traffic in the area.

A Police detachment came to the scene to disperse them but they later re-surfaced. Meanwhile, scores of commuters remained stranded at bus stops for a second day while the few available buses charge exorbitant fares.
