Angola: Rehabilitation of Municipal Library Starts This Year in Kuito

Kuito — The Department of Culture of the central Bie province will rehabilitate the Municipal Library of Kuito city, said the institution's acting director, Francisco Xavier Satchombe.

Francisco Satchombe told Angop that at this time his department, in partnership with the provincial government, has already contacted the new contractor to continue the rehabilitation of the municipal library.

The infrastructure was closed in 2010 due to the cracks and other anomalies to avoid human casualties.

The province of Bie has two similar institutions.
