Angola: Literature Brigade Gains New Literary Workshop

Huambo-The secretariat of Youth Literature Brigade (BJL) in the central Huambo province officially has as from Wednesday a new literary workshop called "St.Thomas Aquinas", which will contribute to the evangelisation of society in many ways through literature.

Speaking to Angop, the spokesman of the new literary workshop, Francisco Katanga said that the team's objective is to humanise society through literature.

The spokesperson underlined that the choice of the great theologian of the Church's Middle Ages is due to his dedication to the evangelisation of people through their rhetoric, which drew crowds to dedicate the words of Jesus Christ.

Francisco Katanga stated that the name of the workshop was created at a time when the liturgical calendar of the Catholic Church celebrates the memory of the death of "St. Thomas Aquinas."

Founded on March 7, 2010, the literary workshop "St. Thomas Aquinas" comprises 30 young seminarians in central Huambo province.
