Ghana/Congo-Kinshasa: Kissi Boateng Joins Mazembe

Richard Kissi Boateng who was left- back by Black Stars has joined DR Congo outfit TP Mazembe on a five-year deal.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Kissi Boateng inked the deal last week after fruitful negotiations with his parent club, Berekum Chelsea in which a statement was made to official website of the four-time African champions.

"The former defender of Berekum Chelsea has signed a five-year contract with TP Mazembe and will play in the CAF Champions League, "the Congolese club stated.

Last week, 'Les Corbeaux' snapped up Asante Kotoko right-back Yaw Frimpong also on a five-year deal.

The 24-year old, currently with the Black Stars preparing for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations becomes the third Ghanaian to join the Lubumbashi-based club.
