Angola: Former Combatants Call for Better Living Standards

Malanje — The association of former combatants in Angola (AAG-Angola) Tuesday asked the sector to improve the social conditions of members, through the actions such as pension funds, housing, transport, education and civil identification.

This was expressed Tuesday in the northern Malanje province during an event marking the Former Combatants and Homeland Veterans' Day, celebrated on 15 January.

AAG-Angola also highlighted the inclusion of the former fighters in social fund of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), as well as benefitting them from plot of land for self-directed construction.

After praising the government commitment, the ex-fighters urged it to continue implementing the same progress.
