Benin: BOAD to give Benin 140 billion CFAF This Year

Libreville — The West African Development Bank (BOAD) will give about 140 billion CFAF this year to back development projects in Benin, sources at the Benin presidency told PANA on Monday.

Sectors that are to benefit from the support include roads, agriculture, rural water, urban sanitation as well as the second stage of a major road project, which will receive about 15 billion CFAF.

BOAD's activities over last year hit 430 billion CFAF, including 78 billion for Benin. For the year 2013, the regional finance institution is releasing 415 billion CFAF for assistance. ( PANA)
