Somalia: Al Shabaab Claims Execution of French Hostage

Mogadishu — Somali militant group of Al Shabab has claimed to have executed a French secret agent it was holding, according to a message the group posted on its account on twitter page.

The group said in the message that it has executed Dennis Allex in BuloMarer at 7:30 this morning, Thursday.

It was yesterday when the group posted on twitter that it sentenced the French officer to death after French commandos conducted a botched rescue attempt in Somalia.
