Nigeria: City People Honours Ali Nuhu

Ace Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu, will be honoured by City People Media group on Sunday January 20, 2013 in Kaduna, for his remarkable contributions to the movie industry.

Speaking on the grand hosting of the celebrated actor, City People's representative in Kaduna, Bunmi Balogun said her organisation chooses to host Ali, who became the only actor and a king that has two palaces (Kannywood and Nollywood), adding that the actor has successfully changed the face of Kannywood for his super acting skills and enthusiasm in the movie industry.

She said, "It became paramount to honour such a skilful actor, who, despite his culture and creed, has carved a niche for himself in Nollywood. He is also an ambassador of so many companies."

According to her, the event will feature so many side attractions, which include musical performance and special photo session at the red carpet. So many top shots Kannywood stars and officials from the ministry of culture and tourism will also be in attendance.

Sharing his delight for the gesture, Ali Nuhu said the event is yet another feather to his cap.

On how he managed to himself criss-crossing between the two giant industries, the Kannywood most celebrated actor said it's a matter of plan and focus. "If you are focused, you'll definitely know where you are heading to and with plan, your schedules will be easy to handle."
