Angola - 'Tv Parlamento' to Publicise National Assembly Work

Luanda — The Angolan Social Communication minister, José Luís de Matos, said Thursday in Luanda that the launch of the "TV Parlamento", a multimedia mean to broadcast the National Assembly's contents, will help publicise the activity of the House.

The minister was addressing a meeting for assessment and discussion, within specialised commission of the National Assembly (Angolan Parliament), of the State Budget for 3013.

José Luís de Matos said on the occasion the intention is to take advantage of the technical and technological facilities available.

"We are going to create specialised teams to cover the Parliament's actions and give a wider space for Parliament's activity," he stated.

Commenting on the expansion of the signal of the Catholic church's "Rádio Ecclésia" broadcasting station, José Luís de Matos said negotiations are underway with the Episcopal Conference of Angola and São Tome , the body that runs the station, seeking the best solution to all interested parties.
