Angola: Diamond Company Contributes to Country's Development

Luanda — Angola's minister of Geology and Mining, Francisco Queirós, on Tuesday said Angola diamond company (Endiama - P.E) is an institution of promotion of the country's development, mainly in the Northern East region, Angop has learnt.

The Cabinet minister said so during the commemorating ceremony of the 32 years of existence of the company, adding that it has a political, social and economic importance for Angola.

"It is an achievement that has been exercising a very positive effect at the gross domestic product and with this contributing for getting fiscal incomes", he said.

He said that Endiama is facing a challenge process to develop from its phase of political and social component to a business one. It is part of the perspective of the Angolan Executive.
