Gambia: Barra Final Set for Saturday

The Barra Youth and Sports Development Committee will play the final of the Nawettan Knockout competition at the community's playing ground on Saturday.

The game that will be played on the 19th January 2013 at the President Jammeh Park in Barra will be between Barcelona FC of Barra and Anacondaz of Mayamba.

The tourney which involved nine teams saw Barcelona knocking out favourites Barra Youth football Academy on penalties while Anacondaz beat Iceland to book their respective tickets into the final. The winners on the day will go home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D6000 and while the runners-up will pocket home a consolation prize of D4000.
