Namibia: Shotokan Academy Starts Training Next Week

The Karate Academy is starting its training programme this coming Monday 21 January at Windhoek High School.

Focus will be on their annual Development for all Junior Belts, which will be hosted by South Africa in Potchefstroom on 24 August 2013. After this event, they will zoom in on their participation in the World Cup in Terni, Italy, in May 2014.

Apart from the usual classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at WHS, extra training will be done by those who qualify for participation in Italy. Shotokan Karate Academy is also well known for their Kiddies Karate training programme which was developed twenty years ago by Sensei Willem Burger, with great success and positive feedback from parents and teachers alike on the improvement of the children's confidence, concentration, discipline, co-ordination and overall improvement in their school activities.
