Angola: African Union Commission Chairwoman in Luanda

Luanda — The chairwoman of the African Union Commission, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, arrived Friday in the Angolan capital city, for a working visit of some hours.

At 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, Nkosazana Zuma was welcomed by the secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Manuel Augusto, as well as workers of the South African Embassy in Angola.

The chairwoman of the African Union Commission will be received by the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, with whom she is to discuss issues related to the continent, on the eve of the Summit of the African Union (AU), to be held on 21-22 January in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma is the first woman to lead the African Union Commission.
