Gambia: Finnish Musician to Collaborate With Gambian Artistes

Tauski, a successful singer from Finland is set to collaborate with Gambian musicians. Since his arrival in the country he fell in love with Gambian music, dance and culture with that he decided to collaborate with Gambian musicians in two ways, one in making a song in The Gambia and singing with a Gambian lady.

At a recent press conference held at Alliance Franco along the Kairaba Avenue, Paul Granholm, chief executive officer Gambia Development Company Limited, noted that Tauski started singing thirty years back, during which they released fifteen albums and sold five hundred thousand records in Finland. Tauski play ten -twelve performances each month and also have festival every summer.

According to Granholm, Tauski want to cooperate with Gambian musicians and has a dance group of four Gambian girls called the 'Black Pump Dance Group' which he will take to Europe to dance in his shows.
