Angola: Governor Assures Mobile Vehicles to Ensure Children, Adult Registration

Namibe — The governor of the south-west Namibe province, Isaac dos Anjos, has guaranteed that his government will make available mobile vehicles to support the registration process of children and adults in Bibala district with a view to ensure the issuing of their identity card from May of the current year.

The governor assured so during a meeting held Thursday with the residents in the communal headquarters in response to the concerns raised by the local residents, especially on the installation service of civil registration and issuance of identity cards.

The governor also advised the population to seek alternative methods for practicing agriculture amid the drought affecting the region.

As for the other concerns raised by the residents, the Issac dos Anjos said he submit them to the concerned institutions for their solution.

The visit to Bibala is part of a trip to the local infrastructures such as schools, medical centres, communal administration, police station, among others.
