Zambia: Macky II, Slap D Sparkle At Top Class

MACKY II and Slap D last weekend were part of the entertainers at Top Class pub (Former Ale House) in Kabwata as the January entertainment is proving to be a success for many pubs around Lusaka.

Macky II was performing in Lusaka on Friday night while Slap D was at the same venue on Saturday night drawing a sizeable crowd for both shows.

Top Class proprietor Peter Simbule said his club will promote Zambian music at all cost and give every Zambian artist an opportunity to perform at the pub.

Macky II nominated in eight categories of the inaugural Mosi Lager Zambian Music Awards put up a great show with his Kopala swag style that has become a definition of local music while his Lusaka counterparts led by Tommy D assisted him.

On Saturday, the attention shifted from Kopala swag to XYZ as Slap D led his group to a scintillating performance at the same venue.

Nominated in seven categories in the same awards as Macky II, the rapper showed his rapping prowess to a sizable and the revellers at Top Class pub had a full packed weekend to remember.
