Luanda — The lack of incentives and the inadequacy of food for animals have negatively influenced the milk production in the country, says a source of the sector, Angop learnt.

This was said by the director of the Institute of Veterinary Services of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, António José.

He said there is a small production of milk and meat in the country, as the main producer, Kwanza-Sul, lacks food for animals and other essential element for their production.

According to José António, the Government has been implementing measures and policies to stimulate cattle breeders into increasing milk and meat production in the country.
