Johannesburg — A music show in support for the Angolan national team of football that is making its first appearance in the 29th edition of the Orange African Cup of Nations (AFCON2013) kick-starting Saturday in South Africa was held Friday night in Johannesburg.
The event was organised by the "Dream Team" that gathers renowned figures of the present day Angolan music-hall like Anselmo Raph, Big Nelo, Yuri da Cunha, Nagrelha and Daniel Nascimento.
The show was witnessed by the minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, who arrived on Friday in Johannesburg to represent the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, at the ceremony of opening of the AFCON2013.
The event was also attended by Angolan ambassador to South Africa, Josefina Pitra Diakite.
Angola is facing Morocco Saturday at Soccer City, in Johannesburg, at the opening of the AFCON2013's group A.
Angola's group in the competition includes Cape Verde, Morocco and South Africa.
