Somalia: Somali Interior Minister Vows Solid Investigation Into the Killings of Somali Journalists.

Mogadishu — Abdikarin Hussien Guled, Somali interior and security minister has said that the government demanded the security to find those who are responsible for the targeted killings against Somali journalists in the capital.

Mr. Guled stated that there would government led investigation why journalists working for Shabelle media network are particularly targeted while there are other radio stations in Mogadishu. The interior minister also mentioned there are unanswered questions about why most of the killings are confined Wadajir district where three Shabelle staff including a director were killed.

The interior and security minister also stressed that his ministry would present full and clear reports about the killings of the journalists particularly that of Abdihared Osman who was killed in Wadajir yesterday.
