ET 2013-2017" will be updated in order to better serve the purposes of the country, Angop learned.

To this end, a workshop will be held on January 21-23 this year in Luanda.

A source from the organisation said that after the evaluation of the 2001-2005 Plan, the conclusion was that it should be updated in the light of the current challenges of the Education sector, with the contribution of various actors of the society.

The workshop will serve to gather contributions from the participants to enrich the plan, including aspects related to monitoring, assessment, communication and insemination.

Fifty-two delegates from 13 of the country's 18 provinces will attend the meeting that will focus on early childhood education, primary and secondary education, preparation for life and literacy, equality, gender and equity and education quality.
