Angola: State Secretary of Agriculture Acknowledges Institute's Development

The State secretary of Agriculture, José Amaro Tati, Sunday in central Huambo province acknowledged the progresses recorded by the Agronomics Research Institute (IIA), regarding the increase in productivity, to guarantee food security and fight against hunger and poverty.

The official said so at the closing ceremony of the meeting of the board of managers of the mentioned institute, that analysed the functioning of the research sector.

He said th Agronomics Research Institute is a light that illuminates the path agriculture must move.

José Amaro Tati mentioned that the growth of researchers in Angola after the peace was achieved has been rising, adding that the Angolan personnel have been very competent regarding the development of agricultural productivity.
