Nomination papers and ballot boxes for URP and TNA failed to arrive on time in many polling stations.
The affected counties included Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Baingo and Pokot.
By midday yesterday, voters in Eldoret were still waiting for the nomination papers to arrive.
