Kenya: Four Hurt in Clash Between Rival TNA Camps in Kieni

FOUR TNA supporters were on Wednesday afternoon injured after two rival groups clashed in Kieni East.

Supporters of parliamentary aspirants James Mathenge clashed with those of Njoroge Wainaina alias Ebeneza when they met at Munyu.

One of the supporters who broke his leg is admitted at the Mathari Mission Hospital, while the other three were treated at Munyu Dispensary and discharged.

The four, whose clothes were ripped off, lost their money and mobile phones. Mathenge and Wainaina condemned the incident and asked their supporters to maintain peace.

Meanwhile, TNA officials in Mathira have stepped down after they were sidelined during the party nominations. The oficials however said they still support the party.
