Kenya: Ex-KAA Boss Wins TNA Embu Ticket

FORMER Kenya Airport Authority chairman Martin Nyagah and former Co-operatives Minister Njeru Ndwiga yesterday secured TNA nominations for Embu county governor and senator seats respectively.

Wambora beat his only rival Dr Njagih Kumantha while Ndwiga went in unopposed in chaotic nomination in Embu.

Dr Kumantha cried foul over failure by the party to print pictures of the candidates on the governor seat ballots. He said leaving blanks for voters to fill in the names of their choices confused many of his supporters whom he said did not know full names.

He further alleged that many other party members thought there were no nominations for the governor seat and thus did not fill anything and thus denying him the victory which was his.
