Kenya: Kajembe Son Clinches ODM Jomvu MP Ticket

THE eldest son of Changamwe MP Ramadhan Kajembe, Seif Kajembe, garnered 2,333 votes to clinch the ODM ticket to vie for the new Jomvu constituency in Mombasa after beating his brother-in-law Bady Twalib Bady who had 1,966 votes.

Zakary Ezra managed only 286 votes in the pollmarred by heckling and booing at Mikindani Pri- mary School.

Former Mombasa deputy mayor Karisa Nzai clinched the Jomvu ward county representative ticket with 1,034 against Victor Otieno's 375 votes.

Abdulswamad Sharrif Nassir clinched the ODM ticket unopposed to vie for Mvita MP, his late father's former seat.
