Mombasa senator aspirant Hassan Omar has termed the county's leaders as old-fashioned.

He said the leaders are "extremely greedy and vicious" and engage in shoddy deals which may ruin the county in the long run.

"They might be young in terms of their outlook, but they are extremely as greedy as they are vicious. I think it is high time we cleaned up Mombasa," said Omar.

He was speaking at a press conference at his office after arriving from Nairobi where he was presented the Wiper ticket.

He said the new line-up that he and his Cord allies will unveil is formidable and will put an end to impunity in Mombasa.
