Egypt: Prime Minister, Qatari Finance Minister Discuss Boosting Economic, Finance, Investment Ties

Prime Minister Hisham Qandeel received on Thursday 17/01/2013 Qatari Finance Minister Yousef Hussein Kamal to discuss fostering bilateral relations especially in the fields of economy, finance and investment.

Investment Minister Osama Saleh said he discussed with Kamal some planned joint projects to be implemented soon in the energy field.

The Qatari Finance Minister, for his part, said that Qatar is keen on providing support and help to Egypt to come out of its current crisis.

Kamal said that the meeting covered prospective joint projects. He pointed out that another meeting will be held in the first week of February in order to continue economic cooperation talks.
