Egypt: Culture Minister Meets Saudi, Omani Information Ministers

Culture Minister Mohamed Saber met in Cairo Thursday 17/01/2013 separately with Saudi Information Minister Abdul-Aziz bin Mohayuddin Khoja and Omani Information Minister Abdulmoneim bin Mansour.

Following his meeting with Khoja, Saber underlined the importance of the Saudi minister's visit to Egypt due to the close relations binding the two countries, especially in the cultural sphere.

The Saudi minister, Saber said, stressed the necessity of beefing up cultural cooperation with Egypt in the upcoming phase.

Egypt and Saudi Arabia are important and fundamental pillars in the region, Saber said, hoping to increase cooperation in the various fields.

The Saudi minister reached an agreement with Saber on setting up a host of joint programs and making use of Egyptian expertise in the cultural sphere.

Regarding his meeting with the Omani information minister, who is currently on a visit in Cairo to take part in Arab Information Ministers Council talks, Saber said that the Egyptians have high esteem of the Omani Sultanate.
