President's Assistant for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation, Essam El Haddad said in an interview with Al-Hayat Al-Youm channel on 19/1/2013 that the date of his last visit to the UAE has not been determined between day and night, but was determined long time before the visit.
He pointed out that the aim of the visit focused on three prongs, including the importance of the strategic relationship between Dubai and Cairo.
Hadad added "I was carrying a message from President Morsi to the Sheikh Khalifa President of the UAE and the second objective of the visit is to work to break the ice between Dubai and Cairo.
The third objective of the visit is to enhance the relationship between Dubai and Cairo, Hadad asserted, adding that he spoke explicitly during the visit and that the Egyptian administration feels that the Gulf states have fears towards Egypt after the Revolution of January 25. He confirmed that these fears must be explained and removed.
