Egypt: Ambassador Omar Leaves for Ethiopia for Preparations of African Summit

Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs Mona Omar will leave for Addis Ababa on Monday to preside over Egypt's delegation in meetings of permanent representatives of the African Union.

Omar will discuss with Egypt's ambassador to Ethiopia topics placed on the agenda of an African Summit to be held on January 27 and 28.

President Mohamed Morsi will chair Egypt's delegation in the summit. Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr will leave for Ethiopia on Wednesday to lead Egypt's delegation in the African Union Peace and Security Council Summit on Friday and NEPAD Summit, Omar said in statements on Saturday 19/1/2012.
