Nigeria: Recruitment Saga - Moro Sets Up C'ttee to Probe Former Immigration Boss

The controversy surrounding the removal of former Comptroller-General of Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Mrs Rose Chinyere Uzoma, over alleged recruitment scandal is still raging as the Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, has set up a Six-Man committee to investigate how she handled the affairs within the service with intention to correct any perceived abnormality.

Moro inaugurated the committee late Thursday night behind closed doors in Abuja, in the presence of the elated Acting Comptroller General, Deputy Comptroller General, Rilwan Bala Musa,

The panel will be chaired by the Director, Paramilitary, Mr. Keftin Amuga, with Dr Attahiru Rufai Kawu as deputy chairman. Other members include Alh. Kurfi A. Ibrahim, Babandede Mohammed, Mr. E. S. A. Ojo and representative of the State Security Service.
