Egypt: 600,000 Expats Register to Vote in Parliamentary Elections

More than 600 thousand Egyptian expatriates have registered online to vote in the coming parliamentary elections, Egypt's Higher Electoral Commission has said.

Most of the expats who have registered were in the Gulf area, specifically in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, the commission's official website reported.

Registration for Egyptian expatriates will continue until February 18 or until they are invited to cast their votes in the imminent elections, whichever comes first.
