Tunisia: Clarifications On Discovery of Weapons Hideout in Medenine

Medenine — After the discovery on Thursday of two arm depots used as a hideout for large quantities of weaponry; the National army, the National Guard and the police have been conducting research operations since Thursday night in the governorate of Medenine, while other security reinforcements have been deployed along the borders and in other areas in the region.

The large quantities of "dangerous" weaponry seized in the depots include bombs, missiles, missile and rocket launchers, ammunition, explosives and grenades as well as bullet-proof vests, military uniforms, wireless communication tools and chemical products.
